The only way Apps2SD will work with a Stock ROM is if the init.rc has been modified with the commands to run Apps2SD.

I have decided to update my stock roms from the latest gingerbread release (4.54.651.1) to take out CIQ, as well as a few minor tweaks. These are stock, rooted, busybox, busybox run parts, and zip aligned. Odexed, Deodex'ed, and NON ROOT versions will be available. I hope these roms can be a base for all devs to use. Thanks!

Here is the start of something that I hope is fun. My first time messing with kernels, I have also been an AOSP fanboy, until the latest HTC Sense OTA. For some reason I get awesome battery with the stock kernel. So knowing that, I thought it would be nice to add some tweaks to a sense kernel and see how good the battery can really get. Amon Ra Style Recovery for Supersonic

I have had several requests for a supersonic recovery from my forked Amon Ra source.

The recovery binary and several binaries have been compiled for armv7-neon so it should be faster. Also many new features have been added/updated. Capactive keys also work.

That's about it. EASY!

Anthrax Qualcomm Kernel

If you've flashed many EVO ROMs, then you've probably run across Chad Goodman's AnthraX series of kernels. They can be under- or overclocked for battery life or performance, the GPU is clocked faster by default, and basically anything you can think of a kernel doing, it does. And it now claims to be the only EVO 3D kernel to provide 100% Beats support in the actual sound drivers.

His newest offerings are for Sense 3.0, 3.5, AOSP, Ice Cream Sandwich, CDMA, and GSM EVOs. So as long as you're actually holding an EVO, chances are it will work with any ROM you can throw at it.

If your ROM supports it, the Beats by Dre codecs are built into the kernel, which should deliver the full Beats experience to your EVO that devices like the HTC Rezound deliver. Also, depending on ROM support, ZSL (Zero Shutter Lag) is built in and should produce instant photo results as opposed to "two seconds from now" results.
